That house sparrow on the right is waving hi to you :) Actually all of the sparrows were taking dirt baths over the septic tank, of all places.

Actually she was sound asleep until I started to take her picture. You can almost hear her sighing.
Samson took a liking to this little suri girl named Arizona. She seemed to like him, too. The flirting went on all weekend. Love in the show ring!
Today and tomorrow we'll be at the Alpaca Ontario Full Fleece Halter Show. From left to right are Latisse, Samson, and Lyndon in their pen.
Valentino looking as handsome as ever. The boy is not camera shy.
What used to be a dining room table is now pretty much the kitty lounge. Note Rocky's empty sleep box in front of Pixel.
A big drift cuts across both paddocks behind the girls' barn. You can see the sediment layers from the different storms. That's the railing that separates the two paddocks.
Yes, it's the recycling bag again. Produce boxes, recycling bags - she wouldn't know what to do with a kitty bed if she ever saw one.
Mostly I like this because of the geometric shapes formed by the ice, snow, wood, and shadows. But then I'm also a fan of Klee and Mondrian.
Pixel taking a break from attacking the plastic lei I hung up for her.
I should just call this blog Pixel_365.
The Elora Gorge, looking west. This isn't a black & white photo; it is really that nearly monochromatic around here.
This was entirely unintentional (she was whirling around like a shark after chum), but I love how it came out. Look at her paws and her face. They remind me of a style of a particular painter, but I can't remember his name. My brain says Picasso, but I think my brain is wrong. It's going to drive me crazy.
It's been a while since I've seen a sunrise. Not because I haven't been up early enough, but because the sun usually isn't out around here. And sure enough, it clouded over about an hour later, and we had light snow most of the day.
A most wonderful gift from the most wonderful caerwynx. You see, I'm not just a crazy cat lady, I'm also a crazy squirrel lady :) And my friends happily enable that particular part of my crazy. Yay!
I've had this glass for ten years now. It was a give-away at Burger King after the first LOTR movie came out, and I made them give me the one with Aragorn on the other side. It looks nothing like Aragorn, but it's the thought that counts. Every day I have my glass of diet ginger ale in my LOTR flagon (as I like to think of it). Speaking of LOTR, I'm almost done with reading the trilogy for the umpteenth time; I'm going to miss it when I'm done.
