Oooh, gorgeous! Love the darkness around the house against it as well.
Big skies are so important! We've a lot of trees in our neighborhood and I generally see the sunset through a line of pine trees, which has its own beauty but isn't the same. It's in pieces. But when I drive home in certain areas, the road is a little higher and there are farm fields that allow big big sky and the sunset spreads over it all. I love that. I want to find a perch somewhere, that I can go every evening :)
I'm still not used to the wide expanse of sky here and the incredible clouds. I love sunsets and sunrises. Our last house had a better view - an open field edged by trees. The sun sets here over houses and phone wires. Still beautiful but more obscured.
I think everyone should have a sunset perch somewhere :)
you know the last time i was reading my flist i saw this and thought it said cloud horse and i stared at it for a couple minutes, but never saw the horse. lol.
