It's movie time

We've been boarding a pregnant alpaca for one of our collective members who wasn't sure that she'd be around when the cria was born. This morning, while none of us were looking, momma Corona dropped this little girl with no fuss, no muss. We're calling her Carly for now; no word what the owner is going to end up calling her. I took a 43 second vid of her trying out her long and wobbly legs.

That's amazing! It doesn't seem to matter that we know animals walk so quickly after birth and instinctively know how to nurse and where to nurse, it's still just ... astounding! Best wishes to the new cria and mom!
