These are four of Deb's sires who are a part of her mobile stud service. You can stop snickering now :) Daniel - the goofy-looking one way in back on the left - is a famous huacaya herd sire, and he commands top dollar for his stud services.

They're cowering in the corner while they try to figure out whether or not
that cardboard box is going to eat them. Really. It was insanely windy
today, and it blew that little box up against the perimeter fence. The
alpacas freaked. And every time the wind moved the box a little, they
freaked again. I took the box away, and they all went calmly and happily back to
grazing.

Why do the huyacayas have those fluffy, puffy ankles? It's very cute.

That's from having been sheared - they only shear down to the knees, so the ankle fleece gets longer and fluffier. They look like they're wearing leg warmers :)
