From my flist:

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
The Searchers. Jezebel. To Kill a Mockingbird. The Mummy. The LOTR trilogy. Young Frankenstein. So many.

2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.
Each of the LOTR trilogy. The first Star Wars. Richard Lester's The Three Musketeers. So many.

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Brendan Fraser.

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Sean Connery.

5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
Young Frankenstein. Blazing Saddles. Gone with the Wind. The Warriors.

6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
Fiddler on the Roof. The Sound of Mucous Music. (My mother was addicted to it.)

7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
Fiddler on the Roof. "To life! To life! L'chaim!"

8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Schindler's List.

9. Name a movie that you own.
Rumblefish. It was the first video that I'd every bought, and it cost a small fortune.

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
Cybill Shepherd.

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in?
Guys, I was raised at a drive-in. When I was a kid, drive-ins were for first run films: I saw the premiere of The Ten Commandments at the drive-in. Doctor Zhivago, Jaws - all seen first at a drive-in.

12. Ever made out in a movie?
Well, I won the ticket raffle once and made out like a bandit. Like that?

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet gotten around to it.
Casino Royale.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?
Twice. Ken Russell's The Devils and Albert Brooks Lost in America. The former because of the horrific torture and violence and the latter for its stupefying boredom.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
Zefferelli's Romeo and Juliet.

16. Popcorn?
Never! If I had my way it would be banned along with candy in crinkly paper and anything else that is noisy to eat. Watch the damn movie, people!

17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
I used to go all the time, but now it's about once or twice a year.

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Wow, I don't even remember. I think it was War of the Worlds.

19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
Now that I think of it, I'm more drawn by the director than the genre. Spielberg will almost always get me into a theater regardless of the subject.

20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
The H-Man, a cheesy Japanese scifi movie, and I saw it at the drive-in with my parents.

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
The Exorcist.

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
I'll go with everyone else and say "Define weird." How about What's Up, Tiger Lily. Woody Allen took a Grade B Japanese spy movie and rewrote the dubbed in dialogue so that now it was about the mad search for the perfect egg salad recipe. Very, very funny.

23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
The Haunting. The original version still scares the crap out of me.

24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?
Young Frankenstein. Hands down.

We had an instructor at SAIT who's surname was Blücher. You'll never guess what we did when she came into the kitchen. ;)

That movie rules.

I wonder sometimes if anybody ever clued her in on the joke. Good times though, good times.
