What it is
19 March 2009 22:101. Thank you for your name suggestions for the new baby. True to form we're ignoring you all and naming her something completely different. Bwah! Dar came up with Tasha, and we both think that it suits her.
2. Still no pictures by me of Tasha, because I've been stuck in the house for a couple days now. I'm having neuro problems again, and it's making it difficult to walk. I'm not that worried about it; for all I know it's the change of seasons that's causing it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, and I'll get out there to see the little girl again.
3. It snowed today. Sigh.
4. My hair is out of control, guys. I like the cut, and I'm glad that I've got it (mostly) one length again, but the texture is like straw. And trust me - I know from straw. It's coming in more gray, and while I like the color, it's the texture of the gray that is just awful. My hair was always fine, but now it's coarse and I just don't know how to deal with it. Hair dyes don't really work on my hair anymore - thanks autoimmune diseases! - so I'm going to have to learn how to live with it. It's strange to have your hair texture change so dramatically.
5. I saw the last hour of the first episode of Kings, and I liked it very much. It's great to have Ian MacShane on the little screen again. The young man who plays David looks eerily like Heath Ledger at certain angles. It kind of freaks me out.
6. Lost. ( Lost.Lost.Lost. ).
7. Pixel is asleep, but she had one eye partially open staring at me. Made me flash on Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart. EEK! Fortunately she just changed position and has both eyes closed now. Creepy little kitty.
8. Wish me luck on getting some sleep tonight. The past few nights have been rough, with the nerves in my legs keeping me up most of the night. So far it's been pretty good tonight. Let's keep it up, OK nervous system?
