Still with the iffy connection. Sigh. I have things to say, people! Not important things, but thiiings nevertheless. Not much hope of that right now. Maybe tomorrow will be another trip to the library to get all parasitic on their bandwidth.

It's the Revenge of Technology around here today, as in not much of it is working: phones, computers, TV. It's a harbinger of the coming Apocalypse, that's what it is. Or else a message from the universe that I should become Old School Mennonite or something.

I have several friends on my flist who belong to the Unitarian-Universalist church. A member of the congregation has posted a first-person account of the attack over at Shakesville. They're a strong community, and I know that they'll make it back. I very much miss attending UU services.
