No, not one of ours. Our friends with the gazillion huacayas had another birth today.
( Meet Justice )
She was three hours old when I took that, cute as a dickens and with fleece so soft that it seemed like an illusion. We're still waiting on Conchita to deliver her next, but the weather has been wacky. Yesterday people were literally wearing winter coats against the cold and the bitter wind. Today it's like Death Valley out there: extreme heat with strong, warm winds. Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter still with high humidity. You just know that contrary Conchita will pick that day to give birth, eh.
The heat did me in today. I ran some errands and did some work outside for a bit, but by the afternoon I was just wasted. I had a sudden onset of new symptoms today, primarily that of muscle weakness in my upper arms and a lot of pain in my hands. As annoying as that was, I think it was helpful because photosensitivity is a symptom that will help narrow the options down, and I think my reaction today was because of the sun. Of course, that's only my opinion; the doctor may pooh-pooh the idea. (At her peril. Just sayin'.)
Tomorrow, more blood work. Hopefully they'll have my last set of results in by now, too. If not, I'll bug them to find out what the hold up is. Because I can be relentless and a first class pain in the ass. Just ask anyone who knows me :) Polite, mind you, but relentless. Or anal. It's all a matter of perspective.
