Here, sleep! C'mon, sleep! Over here.

I'll bet Cleopatra never got insomnia. Nor Catherine the Great, neither. (Either? Either/or, neither/nor, but it just doesn't sound right in this case.) If only I knew someone who had some Ambien. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Heh.

I found out that there's a big Women in Crisis network in the area; it has resources to deal with sexual and physical violence and has a special component for rural women. I'm going to check out the volunteer opportunities with them. I still feel bad for leaving the Kitchener rape crisis center, but there was no way I could meet the time commitment and look for a farm and deal with the move. Now that we're settled, I'm hoping I can get back into volunteering around women's issues again.

I can either go on to a long rambling post about alpaca breeding or I can try to sleep.

You win - I'm going to try to sleep.

Ambien. Amiens. That's a place wot is in France. It's hard to type Ambien. Harder than you think.

Also, I should totally not take a half, but a whole pill.

Howzabout you?

Whole pill is the way to go. Fear not the Ambien; it has no after effects, so you won't feel groggy and drugged out when you awaken. Whole pill, OK?

I finally fell asleep, so yay to that. I think it was because I had so much ventilin in my system yesterday; it put my adrenaline on high. Today should be better. Hopefully for both of us.

Does this mean that the pain is still keeping you awake? Did you start PT yet?

My PT consists of me doing some exercises at home. Which I am doing.

My pain is manageable. Sadly, I suddenly have a new symptom -- the pain shoots down to my heel. *eyeroll*

Blah.

Sorry for the delay in replying: May and June are here, and I've been on alpaca duty and errands.

Anyway, does the pain travel down your leg or is it localized in your heel. If it's the latter, you could have plantar fasciitis (http://www.webmd.com/hw/foot_problems/hw114460.asp). I've had it; I remember Gloria at the Peab had it. Yeah, it's very painful, but it's treatable. Maybe you should report it. In fact, I think it would be the right thing to do, just in case.

You poor thing. It's like someone has a voodoo doll of you and a warehouse full of pins. I'm so sorry, my friend.

Nope it's the travelling variety. Feh.

Don't think I haven't considered the voodoo angle...

That's because when "neither" comes at the end of a sentence, it is properly paired with "ain't". :)
